DC prides itself on offering high quality products. However, this availability may vary from time to time. Some items shown may only be available in limited quantities or while stocks last.
When an item is out of stock, we make every effort to remove it from display in a timely manner. However, listing an item on DC.com does not guarantee that the item is currently in stock or that it will be available on our site when you next visit.
Most of the items shown are custom made based on stone size, stone quality, choice of metal, etc. We make every piece of jewelry from scratch. Depending on industry standards and Federal Trade Commission guidelines, there may be a maximum variation of 0,07 carats in the total weight of a diamond on a single piece of jewelry. For precious stones, a tolerance of 0,25 mm is allowed. Also, the carat weight of a gemstone is approximate and can vary significantly from the approximate weight listed due to the different sizes of the stones. In general, the carat weight of a gemstone exceeds the approximate weight listed.

War diamonds

DC's diamond supply includes quality diamonds from some of the most reputable suppliers in the world. As responsible citizens and jewelers, we share the public concern about conflict diamonds. At DC, we only purchase diamonds through respected and established legal channels.
In April 2003, President Bush enacted the Kimberley Process Act, which requires all U.S. diamond retailers to purchase diamonds from manufacturers who have provided documented guarantees that the goods were obtained through legitimate channels. Today, the U.S. Customs Service actively enforces Kimberley Process requirements when diamonds enter U.S. ports.
DC supports the Kimberley Process. All of the diamond cutters we work with source diamonds only from legitimate sources and fully comply with the requirements of the Kimberley Process. At DC, we will continue to support and promote any process that maintains the legitimacy of the diamond trade.
